This is a good concept of an armored suit, I think? What I mean is that the angle of the lower leg, seems to be more suited to a none-human limb, one similar to say a bighorn sheep. Is this indeed a man in an armored suit, or a robot/android? Don't get me wrong, the design would be excellent in maintaining balance in combat. In all vertebrate/primates species, the foot is essential for weight-bearing, locomotion, (in our case a bipedal gait) and climbing, as well as part of the body’s natural balance-keeping mechanism. In your design the ''foot' seems to be augmented by the addition of an improved forward pedestal that would aid in mobility, speed, stability, and possibly gripping. It seems as if the wearers foot is set above the lower pedestal, a design that I have played around with in some of my armor concepts. PS: I can not draw in this format, but am fascinated with the concept of powered armor for humans, as I am disabled. Please contact me by email if you wish, as I am quite curious as to you designs intent.
